Portfolio Review
All studio art applicants to Uconn’s Department of Art and Art History are required to complete a portfolio review before acceptance into the art department is complete. Portfolios can be reviewed in one of the following ways: at the national portfolio review day in Hartford or Boston, at the Uconn portfolio review day, or applicants can use our online portfolio submissions process. It is highly recommended that students attend one of the Portfolio Review day locations so that the department has a better understanding of their work and process. If students are unable to attend one of the review sessions there is the option of submitting work through the online submission process. Applicants will be notified by mail of the review results within a few weeks of the review.
