Portfolio Guidelines
Applicants for admission will require a portfolio review for entrance into the University of Connecticut School of Fine Arts, Department of Art studio art program. Portfolios should include a maximum of 15–20 examples of some or all of the following categories.

•  Life drawing from observation: still life, figure, or landscape, (charcoal or pencil)
•  Painting (acrylic, oil, or watercolor)
•  Printmaking (all types)
•  Photography
•  Digitally created images
(portfolio must also include other types of work)
•  Three-dimensional work: wood, wire, or clay (presented as slides or photos only)
•  Hand-made books (or other mixed media)
