Transfer Applicants
Interested transfer applicants must obtain a Transfer application from the University's Transfer Admissions office. Transfer applicants also have a portfolio requirement for acceptance into the Art Department. Transfer portfolios are reviewed relative to a department student at the same studio credit level. Transfer applicants to the B.F.A. program are required to attend the in house portfolio review at the Art building, University of Connecticut, Storrs campus. While it is highly suggested that the interested transfer applicant attend this review, the Art Department will accept Online Submissions. Please take note of the following steps that will aid you in the application process.
Step One:
Apply to the University Please find all Uconn application information at www.transfer.uconn.edu
Step Two:
Check portfolio guidelines for information about what should be included in your portfolio.
Step Three:
Have your portfolio reviewed at the Storrs Portfolio Review or submit your portfolio online.
Step Four:
Bring or send a copy of your transcript. If you are submitting a portfolio online please send a copy of your transcript to the Art Department by the transfer deadline date. If you are attending the Storrs review bring a transcript with you to the review.
