Edvin's professional design activities are channeled through Typotopia/A Virtual Design Bureau. Prior to joining UConn Edvin was the Senior Art Director at Context Incorporated where he conducted a host of design projects for Fortune 100 and 500 companies such as GE, GE Foundation, Avon, and Wyeth among others. Additionally, Edvin has been a member of Class Action Design Collective since 1997. Class Action engages in design activism and has addressed issues such as NEA Funding, Domestic Violence, Teen Pregnancy, and Gun Violence. Class Action also is active in design education and conducts lectures, workshops at various universities and design forums. Edvin received his BA from Central Connecticut State University in Special Studies: Philosophy/Psychology/Design in 1991. He earned his MFA from the Yale School of Art in 1995.
